The Swan

This painting was inspired by a swan I photographed on the way to see a play in Stratford Ontario. Stratford is famous for its theatre and just as famous for its swans. One of Canada’s traditional annual festivals is Stratford's Swan Parade, where people from all over the world come to witness this official arrival of spring, as the swans return to the Avon River.
This piece was exhibited at the 34th Annual Juried Show of Fine Arts at Visual Arts Brampton.
